Income Advice Officer

Laura Reilly

Laura has worked in Welfare Advice for over 5 years & has represented clients across Greater Glasgow and North Lanarkshire providing comprehensive welfare rights advice and appeal representation to people from a variety of backgrounds. Laura is passionate about welfare rights and experiences great job satisfaction from helping people to obtain the support they are entitled too. Laura has excellent knowledge of the benefits system and provides income maximization advice, better off calculations and appeal representation to our tenants. Laura has successfully completed a City and Guilds energy advisor training course; I have also completed the Money Advice Service Giving Good Debt Advice, advice work & case specialist (Scotland) training.

 

Housing Officers

Maureen Wilson

After working in various offices, Maureen returned to full time education as a mature student and gained a BA (Hons) Social Sciences from Glasgow Caledonian University.  After this she went on to study for 2 years at Stirling University, where she gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies along side completing a number of student work placements in various housing associations.  She began working full time in social housing in 2004, working in a number of housing associations, both large and small in Glasgow and the surrounding areas, gaining extensive experience as housing assistant and housing officer.

David Walls

David has worked for Wellhouse HA for over 5 years. Previous to this he worked in various roles within Housing for over 20 years. He has a vast knowledge and experience in dealing with the public.

Lorraine Ramsay (part time)

Lorraine Ramsay joined Wellhouse HA in November 2021, she has joined the housing management team as a Housing Assistant, she has over 10 years previous experiencing in Housing Associations, currently she is studying CIG level 4 housing.  she is a new member of staff and is looking forward to being a part of the Wellhouse Team.

John Stevenson 

John began working full time in the housing sector in 1979. John holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies from Glasgow University and a BA Degree from the Open University. John has worked for  a number of local authorities, including Glasgow and both local and national RSL's mainly in North Lanarkshire and Glasgow before taking up his current role with Wellhouse Housing Association.
